Tried some indoor climbing? or want to explore the countryside from a different angle? want
to try climbing and have no experience, look no further. Join us for a half day (3hour)
climbing session [minimum of 2 participants per session]. The Peak District National Park offers some of the best Rock Climbing in

the country with venues set in picturesque locations including Stanage, Burbage and
Froggatt Edge and more.

With a decade of climbing experience, We have the experience and the expertise to guide
you to success.

Group booking price will be discounted, please enquire.
Time duration: 3 hours
Location: Burgage Valley car park
Ratio: 1:6 max of 6 participants per session [minimum of 2 participants per session]
(discounts for group bookings will be considered)
Is their a minimum/maximum age?
8 years of age is our minimum age limit. All children need parents with them (climbing or
not). Their is no maximum age limit.

Course Content:
Throughout the session, we teach the fundamentals of climbing, harness, and helmet
adjustments. Tying yourself into the harness, and belay safely.
 Correctly tying into the rope using a recognised climbing knot.
 How to fit and adjust a climbing harness.
 Looking the best way to climb a route.
 Climbing call and common climbing terminology.
 Choose how hard you want your climb.

What we provide:
We provide all technical equipment including harness and helmet

What do you need to bring with you?
 Clothing suited to the weather (waterproofs, warm tops, etc)

 Good comfortable footwear for walking to the crag

 A good supply of snacks and a drink

If you have your own harness or a shiny piece of climbing kit bring it and we will help you
use it appropriately
